On November 9th, IT Home reported that according to CCTV Finance, the global laser equipment market sales revenue in 2024 is about 21.8 billion US dollars (IT Home's note: the current exchange rate is about 155.325 billion yuan), of which the sales revenue of China's laser equipment market accounts for 56.6%
According to reports, driven by infrastructure investment, the average annual growth rate of demand for laser cutting equipment in the Middle East exceeds 7%. In recent years, Chinese laser equipment has penetrated into workshops around the world, becoming a powerful tool for infrastructure construction and industrial manufacturing. In terms of export scale, Europe and Southeast Asia account for over 60% of China's total exports of laser cutting machines, with significant increases in imports from countries such as Germany, Vietnam, and India.

It is expected that by 2025, the global laser equipment market will exceed 24 billion US dollars (with a current exchange rate of approximately 171 billion yuan), with a growth rate of over 15%. At present, the localization rate of high-power lasers in China has exceeded 70%, and the market size of laser equipment accounts for more than half of the global total. In the first half of the year, the export of laser welding machines and devices was 12.67 billion yuan, and the export of laser processing machine tools was 8.47 billion yuan, with a significant increase in the proportion of high value-added intelligent products.
IT Home Note: Laser equipment is an industrial device that uses laser as a processing medium and is widely used in precision machining fields such as cutting, welding, and marking. The main types include laser marking machines (fiber optic, CO2, semiconductor, UV, green light), laser welding machines (YAG, fiber optic transmission), and laser cutting machines (YAG, fiber optic).
