PGGP Waste Container Loading: Special Cases

Jan 24, 2025

In our previous discussion, we shared the standard loading information for PGGP waste containers. This time, we'll focus on special cases that often arise during the loading process, including mixed loading and truck transportation. These scenarios require careful planning and calculations to maximize efficiency and reduce shipping costs for our clients.

Mixed Loading for Different Waste Container Models

One common special case is mixed loading. Clients sometimes order multiple types of waste containers in a single shipment. In such situations, our sales team carefully calculates the stacked volume of each model. By analyzing the dimensions and stacking requirements of each container, we ensure they are arranged efficiently within the container.

We then take into account the specific type of shipping container, such as a 40HQ or 20GP, and its internal volume to determine the best configuration. Our goal is to maximize the use of the container's capacity while ensuring the waste containers are securely stacked and protected during transit. This precise planning helps clients save on freight costs while ensuring all their products are delivered safely and efficiently.

Loading for Flatbed Trucks

Another special case involves loading waste containers onto flatbed trucks, such as 17.5-meter trailers. For these shipments, we consider not only the truck's volume but also domestic and international weight restrictions. Regulations on truckload weights vary by country, and exceeding these limits could lead to fines or logistical issues.

Our team performs comprehensive calculations to find the optimal number of containers that can be loaded onto the truck without exceeding weight limits while fully utilizing the available space. We prioritize both compliance with transportation regulations and cost efficiency for our clients.

Regardless of the specific loading scenario, our guiding principle remains the same: helping our clients save on shipping costs. Whether it's through maximizing container volume in mixed shipments or optimizing truckloads for road transport, we strive to provide practical and cost-effective solutions tailored to each client's unique needs.

By sharing these insights, we aim to give our clients a clearer understanding of our loading processes and how we work to deliver their products efficiently and economically. At PGGP, we are dedicated to ensuring every shipment is handled with the utmost care and precision.
